Frequently Asked Questions
Can I see the portrait before it prints? +
Yes — every order includes a free digital proof. You review it, request any changes you want at no extra charge, and we print nothing until you give the green light.
What if I don't love how it looks? +
Request changes on your proof — as many rounds as you need, at no extra charge. Once you approve it, the order is final and goes to print.
Can I include my station number or unit? +
Yes. During checkout you'll be prompted to enter your pet's name and any additional details — station number, unit, rank. Our artists incorporate all of it directly into the artwork.
How long does it take? +
From order to delivery: approximately 7–10 business days after you approve your digital proof. Production takes 3–5 days, then standard shipping takes 3–5 more days. Free shipping on all U.S. orders.
What kind of photo works best? +
A clear, well-lit photo where your pet's face is fully visible. Front-facing or slightly angled shots produce the best results. Avoid blurry, dark, or heavily filtered photos — our artists work best with a sharp, natural image.
What if my portrait arrives damaged? +
Email us at support@pawsforportraits.com within 7 days of delivery with your order number and photos of the damage. We'll send a full replacement at no cost — no questions asked.
Do you ship internationally? +
We currently ship within the contiguous United States only. Questions? Email support@pawsforportraits.com — we respond within 1 business day.
